An active and environmentally friendly holiday: thanks to our bicycles for rent, you can enjoy nature biking along the coast and through the inland of the Ogliastra region. The perfect destination for those who love mountain biking among the Mediterranean maquis and along trails that go down to pristine coves.
The stretch of coastline from S. Maria Navarrese to Cala Luna is certainly, from an alpine standpoint, the wildest part of Sardinia: over 40 km of cliffs, 400 meters high, pristine and wild valleys full of limestone walls and dry plateaus make this location truly unique. Simple excursions suitable for everyone give you the opportunity to quickly reach the most beautiful coves of the Gulf of Orosei: Cala Goloritzé, Cala Sisine, Cala Luna. For more expert hikers, we recommend the “Selvaggio Blu” (Wild Blue) trail.
The Ogliastra region is a renowned and wonderful destination for free climbers. The finely chiseled limestone plates in Jerzu, Ulassai and Osini, the crowded cliffs of the Gallico village of Baunei, the dizzying walls of Punta Giradili and the famous Aguglia, the symbol of climbing in Sardinia and maybe in the whole Mediterranean: today, the Ogliastra region is a full blown microcosmos able to satisfy the most demanding climbers, where you can find everything and above all, climb in every season and in any weather.
Mysterious underground tunnels, hidden craters such as the cove Grotta Su Marmuri between the Tacchi of Ulassai and the Grotta del Fico, in underground cavities, along the splendid cliffs of the Baunei coast, last realm of the Mediterranean Monk Seal, to discover a unique and fantastic world. You will delve into underground halls of indescribable beauty, enriched by stalagmites and stalactites of peculiar shapes.
Forty kilometers of Sardinia’s wildest coast: on a motorboat or an elegant motorsailer around the Gulf of Orosei. Sail on board comfortable and fast motorboats, and admire the limestone caves and the high cliffs that falls sheer into the sea, all the way to the most beautiful and famous beaches of the Mediterranean: Cala Goloritzé, Cala Mariolu, Grotta del Fico, Cala Sisine, Cala Luna, Grotte del Bue Marino.
